Andrea Olivera is an Ayurveda Specialist in downtown Toronto and the founder of The Andrea Olivera Centre for Ayurveda: The Mother of Healing.

Andrea’s life knowledge is based on a desire to revolutionize the beauty industry by providing integrated multidisciplinary approaches to human revitalization and beautification. Her vision embodies the most current scientific information in the fields of vedic medicine, cellular psychology and molecular nutrition. She has developed unique methods for relaxation and insight. Overview:

Spa technology, mind-body medicine and other healing sciences have underlined Andrea Olivera’s life for over 15 years. Andrea Olivera naturally gravitated to psycho-physiological Eastern healing disciplines. Andrea is well versed in twenty-first century energy-based vibrational mind-body healing processes and utilizes her training in Ayurveda, Shiatsu, Reiki, Kinesiology, Crystals, Aromatherapy, Vedic Philosophy, Shamanic journeys, and Rice Readings to serve each client's individual needs.

Some of her titles and qualifications include; Certified Aromatherapist, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Ayurvedic Neurotherapist, New Decision Therapist™ and Educator, Reiki Master, Living Foods Health Educator, and Professional Beauty Esthetician.

Truly a gifted educator, Andrea has conducted technical demonstrations and motivating workshops on all aspects of Ayurvedic rejuvenation.

Andrea has an excellent reputation among visiting celebrities. She has treated numerous stars, including Duran Duran, Helena Christensen, Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, Steve Guttenberg, Rahul Khanna, and director Deepa Mehta.

Training:

As an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Andrea has studied extensively in India. She was first introduced to Ayurveda eleven years ago by Dr. Upadiya, International Himalayan Hospital, in Haridwar India. There she was trained in Shirodhara and became familiar with Pancha Karma. These studies were furthered in Vrindavana, India, Lord Krsna's birthplace, with Dr. Gupta, Ayurvedic doctor and Pancha Karma specialist. This involved case studies, offering Ayurvedic consultations, assessments and treatments, for ashram residents. Additionally, devotional service for the community was practiced, through the Food for Life program, feeding thousands of the poor each day.

Her studies include; two years at the Canadian School of Eastern Medicine, under Dr. Pankaj Seth, for a Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine; a continual correspondance course at the American Institute for Vedic Studies, under Dr. David Frawley, for an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant Certificate; an Ayurvedic Neurotherapy Diploma from the International Federation of Neurotherapy (IFN), under Ismat Nahani; studies at the Tantric College of America™ under Dharmanidhi Saraswati, Ayurvedic Practitioner; numerous personal training courses with Dr. Deepak Chopra at the Chopra Centre for Wellbeing, and; various Ayurveda courses by Bri. Maya Tiwari, Dr. Robert Svoboda, Dr. Vasant Lad, Harish Johari and Dr. Nitan Shah. Andrea believes in ongoing education and is currently enrolled in further Ayurveda studies.

Consulting Record:

Andrea continues to consult and define unique treatments for the Beauty Industry, borrowing from; East Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Egyptian, and South & Central American traditions. Presently, Andrea has formed a strategic alliance with Fluidity Spa Technologies Ltd., a vertically integrated worldwide mega-theme spa design firm dedicated to mainstream healing and technologies.

She has been a consultant and educator with The Collega for Aveda--a global leader in the manufacturing of environmental lifestyle products--for over nine years, creating some of the most innovative esthetic beauty treatments available in the Aveda/Civello Spa Network.

Andrea has organized and lead technical demonstrations and motivational workshops as an Aveda Purefessional. She appeared alongside Helga Hefner in the Aveda’s International Congress Festival.
